Larien Products is a product design and manufacturing company based in Northampton, MA. The company is best known for its' guillotine style bagel slicer design, a unique way to safely slice bagels. 

The company's motto is "SMART SOLUTIONS TO ANNOYING PROBLEMS"

The Bagel Biter, The Original Bagel Guillotine was invented by company president Rick Ricard in 1994. This two piece "guillotine" system for slicing fresh bagels was awarded a US patent. 

Rick Ricard and his daughter, Meg Rosa, run the company together. Truly a family owned and operated business. We focus on new ideas and keeping manufacturing of our products in the USA. Our products are proudly made in Connecticut.
